I created and maintain this website out of growing frustration—one shared by many in our community—regarding the current leadership of the ACCF board.
After attending a year’s worth of ACCF board meetings, I have witnessed firsthand an ineffective and incompetent board that has mismanaged hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars while overcharging local non-profits for park usage.
I have seen board members attempt to sue local businesses for damages they themselves caused—such as $10,000 in tractor repairs unfairly blamed on C&N Tractors, a long-time local supporter of community events. They have also shifted blame onto local organizations for safety hazards, such as teenagers accessing bathroom roofs, despite their own negligence in leaving ladders propped against the buildings day and night.
Community members and business owners have brought forward innovative ideas to improve park revenue and exposure, yet these suggestions have been repeatedly ignored.
The ACCF board should be composed of local business owners and representatives from non-profits who rely on the park for fundraising and community engagement. The current board has failed in its mission—they lack the ability to fundraise, utilize the park effectively, communicate with the community, and foster the growth this space deserves.
It’s time for leadership that truly serves the best interests of the community.
